Spanning 3 years.

Our challenge
Construct 3 suspension bridges and 4 fixed bridges in remote locations on the famous Timber Trail network. One of our bridges is New Zealand's second longest suspension bridge at 141m.

Our Solution
Extensive planning was involved due to the remote locations and amount of helicopter work needed. All bridges successfully completed to exacting quality standards within the required timeframe.

“Edifice were resourced, skilled and efficient. All bridges were constructed to their usual high standard and efficiency.”

“One of these suspension bridges, across the Maramataha River, at 141m long and 55m high, is the longest and highest bridge on Nga Haerenga, the New Zealand Cycle Trail network. Led by director Andrew Hamilton, with Roy Hamilton and his team on site - a great team to work with. Edifice also constructed four other bridges on the Timber Trail ranging in length from 12 to 21.2m.”
