Andrew moved to Levin in 1976 and gained experience in all aspects of carpentry including joinery roofing in both commercial and residential construction. Started out in business in 1992. Edifice Contracts was founded by Andrew and is now the most recognised brand for pedestrian bridge structures. With a lot of challenging projects throughout the years, he is proud to work with such an awesome team.

Meet Tom, the driving force behind Edifice. With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a skilled carpenter and a brief stint as an architectural draftsman, Tom has honed his craft to perfection. For the past 6 years, he’s successfully led his own carpentry company. Now, as the Business Manager at Edifice, Tom brings his passion for quality craftsmanship and dedication to family values, ensuring the smooth operation and continued success of the company.

Arturo is a finance professional with over 15 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry, he specialises in managing financial operations and complex projects across multiple countries with a strong emphasis on governance, compliance and planning & analysis. “At Edifice we are dedicated to streamlining processes and leveraging innovative strategies to achieve significant cost savings for our clients, without compromising on the quality and integrity of our best-in-class designs. With over 20 years of commitment and experience in building construction and maintenance, I bring a wealth of expertise in carpentry, area and project management, and overseeing large-scale projects. I thrive on challenge, anything that pushes me to think outside the box. Outside of work, I’m all about being with my whanau, enjoying the outdoors, and everything sport.

Sam has over 10 years’ experience in Building and Construction, complemented by a background in architecture in New Zealand and overseas.

With over two decades of expertise in building and carpentry, Mark consistently delivers precision and top-notch craftsmanship to every project. Outside of work, Mark is a keen outdoorsman and traveller.

Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Porou With his experience in construction, Hagar plays a new but vital role in assisting with the prefabrication and installation of our bridges.

Justin brings over 8 years of experience to Edifice,  primarily Structural Engineering and Fabrication, and building.

Brett provides governance to the business and helps guide it in the right strategic direction. He has worked on many projects since he started over 20 years ago. Now he is a vital part of the company structure and works with Andrew and Roy to ensure we provide top-quality structures in the most efficient way possible.

Roy works with the contracts team to share his experiences and knowledge on different bridge structures and construction methodologies. He has worked on some of our most iconic structures since we started and now helps directly with projects to ensure we provide the best options for our clients.

Kerryn assists with general administration and EA tasks. Keeping everything running smoothly, while the team is onsite.  

Kauia works on both prefabrication of our bridges, and on-site with the installation. His experience in the building industry means he has the skills to get the job done. Working on a range of Glulam, suspension and swing bridges, he is a valuable team member.
